Hands at Work

Clay is a material that has few limits and real diversity. With each different artists hands it reveals itself and transforms into something unique to that maker. I have never given my hands the attention they probably deserve, other than using large quantities of hand cream to stop them drying out. These images make me think I shouldn’t take them for granted, I feel them complaining sometimes of the hard manual labour I’ve put them through over the years, but I have saved a fortune in manicures!
