juliet walters: ceramics

burnished hearts

November/December 2011

Christmas is just around the corner and I have spent the last couple of days packing up my work to take to Art in Clay at the Farnham Maltings. After this event it will be the Christmas Open Houses in Brighton. Both of these are great places to browse for those unique Christmas presents, so do come along if you are able.

Art in Action at Waterperry and Art in Clay at Hatfield were both fabulous shows. I never get tired of these events. The feedback you have from buyers and other potters makes everything worthwhile. Both events were very well attended and the weather was kind to us, no flooded marquees or freak storms this year - or worst of all high winds, never well recieved in a tent full of ceramics!

I have added some new images to the Gallery on the site. If there is anything that you see in the these sections that you might be interested in purchasing, please email me and I can let you know what I have available. My making process is a slow one and my range is large, so I will not always have everything in stock but I can make to order within 4-6 weeks. If you are familiar with my work you will know that each piece is individually made and therefore no one piece comes out exactly the same, but with all the technologies available to us now I can email you a photo so you can be sure you like what you see before you purchase!

Have a look at my diary page for further details of future events that I will be involved in. As always I am very happy for people to come and meet me at my studio, but please make an appointment first.

Thank you for taking the time to look through my website, I hope you like what you see.
